Dr. Ólafur Sigurjónsson holds a PhD in Stem Cell Biology from the University of Oslo.
He is a professor in Tissue Engineering at Reykjavik University and former president of the Scandinavian Society for Biomaterials.
Currently he is the chair of the Innovation working group at the European Blood Alliance.
