Prof. Dr. – Ing. Morris Riedel has worked in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC) for over 20 years, focusing on data-intensive methods and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and applications.
He works on enhancing and broadening the activities of the Icelandic HPC community ( www.ihpc.is ) and represents Iceland in the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking ( https://www.eurohpc-ju.europa.eu ) Governing Board. Beyond many scientific publications in these fields, Morris Riedel is also actively involved in supporting a wide variety of SMEs, industries, and public sector organisations through pan-European National Competence Centers (NCCs) and emerging AI Factories.
